Technical Director (Electrical BD Operations)

Job Description / Responsibility
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the indoor Sub-Station, Diesel Generator, and On-grid Rooftop Solar System.
- Perform Electric Preventive Maintenance including Insulation Resistance tests, earth resistance tests, thermography scanning, breaker trip tests, ACB/VCB micro-ohm tests, and transformer tests in compliance with BNBC requirements.
- Support other departments, particularly production, by ensuring electrical connectivity and maintenance as needed.
- Supervise and maintain the quality of electrical equipment.
- Review and monitor the requirements for electrical equipment and instruments through effective inventory management.
- Maintain communication with higher authorities and suppliers to procure the most cost-effective spare parts for machinery to ensure smooth factory operations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform technical decisions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and external partners, to ensure project success.
- Provide input into the company's long-term strategic planning, particularly concerning technical capabilities and offerings.
- Develop and enforce technical standards, procedures, and best practices across the engineering team.
- Ensuring all technical operations comply with local laws and regulations, and providing regular reports to senior management.
- Developing and implementing emergency response plans for technical failures or disasters, ensuring the safety and security of the factory.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives in all technical areas to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Implement standardized maintenance systems, SOPs, KPIs, and reporting frameworks across all units to ensure consistent operations, efficiency, and measurable performance improvements.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
Experience Requirements
- At least 20 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Additional Job Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical background in electrical systems design, implementation, and testing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with strategic planning and innovation in a technical context.
- Experience with electrical systems in industries such as power generation, transmission, renewable energy, or industrial automation.
- Fluent and good communication skill in English
