Job Description / Responsibility
- Plumbing System:
- Perform design calculations and system sizing for water supply, drainage, stormwater systems in accordance with IPC and local codes.
- Develop detailed plumbing system designs, including pipe routing, pumping systems, sanitary fixtures AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Prepare design documents, BOQs, specifications, and technical reports for projects.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Review vendor drawings, specifications, and equipment submittals for compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Support tendering and bidding processes by providing technical inputs, clarifications, and cost evaluations.
- Conduct site visits for design validation, installation supervision, testing, and troubleshooting as required.
- Ensure designs meet water conservation, sustainability, cost-effectiveness, environmental, and safety standards.
- Prepare as-built drawings, material take-offs, and BOQ reports.
- Stay updated with the latest plumbing technologies, codes, and materials for continuous improvement.
- Fire Fighting System:
- Design and drafting of fire detection & protection system, including BOQ preparation and cost estimation.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Consulting Firms, Engineering Firms
Additional Job Requirements
- Additional Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fire detection, protection and fire safety planning.
- Familiar with NFPA, BNBC and FSCD RSC Act & regulations.
- Experienced in hydraulic calculations, battery sizing, voltage drop and conduit calculations.
- Capable of managing projects effectively and performing well under pressure.
