Job Description / Responsibility
- System Design & Implementation: Lead the planning, design, and installation process of mechanical systems (HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation) for new cold storage facilities.
- Maintenance and Repair: Plan and execute regular preventive maintenance activities for all cold storage machinery, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems, including both ammonia-based and Freon-based refrigeration systems. Diagnose and quickly resolve complex mechanical failures.
- Project Management: Plan, budget, and ensure the timely execution of engineering projects related to upgrades, expansions, or the installation of new equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and effectively resolve machinery faults to minimize downtime.
- Installation and Upgrades: Provide engineering supervision and support during the installation of new equipment and the upgrading of existing systems.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize processes to improve system energy efficiency and reliability.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, industry standards, and environmental regulations. Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and food safety standards, such as HACCP or ISO.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation of all mechanical activities, maintenance records, equipment specifications, and modifications.
- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise, guide, and provide necessary training to the maintenance team and technicians.
