Job Description / Responsibility
- Context:
- TANVIR CONSTRUCTIONS LIMITED is considered one of the promising construction companies in Bangladesh. The activities of TANVIR CONSTRUCTIONS LIMITED includes but are not limited to (i) Civil constructions such as Runway Construction, Road Construction (Flexible Pavement, Rigid Pavement), Bridges, Multi-Storied Buildings, Culverts, RCC drainage structures, etc. (ii) Computerized toll operation and maintenance of Bridges and Roads.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Contractors to ensure timely receipt of bills. Monitoring timely completion of contractor billing certification activities in comparison with drawing, site condition & measurement, BOQ, contract, quality standards, RFI, and daily progress report.
- Must have experience with Government Engineering Projects.
- Must have work experience with Government Engineering Projects.
- Bill checking and estimation, reconciliation of bill & BOQ preparation. Early budget estimation regarding company’s rule & regulation, sanctioning ERP process.
- Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) & bills with item rates from tender.
- Knowledge of shuttering/Formwork estimation will be a plus.
- Billing Procedures from Client & Contractor side.
- Billing for extra-items/non-BOQ items.
- Prepare quantity sheet from onsite data & drawings.
- Prepare & process subcontractor bills.
- Collaborating with project managers, project directors & engineering teams.
- Review the quantities of item listed.
- Checking and certification of bills and invoices from vendors and contractors.
- Any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Job Location:
- Initially at Head Office (Tejgaon), later anywhere in Bangladesh.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
Experience Requirements
- At least 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, Developer, Engineering Firms, Real Estate
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years
- Must have 8 years of practical experience in QS related work. Must be computer literate and able to produce different analytical reports and statements independently.
- Computer Skills:
- AutoCAD (Will be given preference)
- Microsoft Office (Should be proficient in excel)
- *** Candidates do not have Advance/Medium level expertise in any of the mentioned software, no need to apply.
- Other Skills:
