Job Description / Responsibility
- Employment Type: Full Time (Regular)
- Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the construction department, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain detailed records of design calculations, construction procedures, and inspection results.
- Oversee project planning, design, procurement, execution, and completion.
- Manage and mentor construction managers, site supervisors, and other staff.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and risks; proactively address issues.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Prevent wastage and optimize costs during construction processes.
- Reviewing the work of the construction crew to determine whether quality standards are being observed.
- Developing a plan and quality of work for each site so that each project can finish on time.
- Informing senior management about the cost and progress of each project & regular follow-up with clients.
- Managing the budget for each worksite to make sure each project is completed efficiently.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering
- B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from BUET.
Experience Requirements
- At least 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Real Estate, Developer
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 30 years
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Real Estate/ Construction Organization.
- Experience with Shanta Holdings/Assurance/BTI/Rangs/Simple Tree/ Edison/Assure Group will be our priority.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications, including 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings with basic knowledge of relevant standards (ASNT, ASTM, ISO, BNBC) and basic knowledge of Primavera Expedition.
- Project documentation, construction analysis & design.
