Job Description / Responsibility
- The Executive/Senior Executive – Finance Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial, accounting, and compliance audits across company operations to ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to internal policies, statutory requirements and management directives. The role requires need-based visits to factories and other office locations in line with audit plans and organizational requirements.
- Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits of financial statements, accounting records, and financial transactions.
- Review and verify vouchers, ledgers, journals, trial balance, and supporting documents.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Examine revenue, expenditure, inventory, fixed assets, and cost related records.
- Evaluate internal control systems and identify gaps, risks and weaknesses.
- Identify financial risks, fraud indicators, and operational inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, Bangladesh Labor Law (where applicable), Tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance with management approved budgets and financial controls.
- Visit factories, depots, and other business locations as per audit plan and management instruction.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance financial discipline and cost control.
- Prepare audit reports with observations, findings, and actionable recommendations.
- Assist in developing and updating audit procedures and checklists.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Minimum Graduation in Accounting or Finance
- Professional Degree (CA/CC/ACCA/CMA – Part Qualified or Qualified) will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 6 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Animal/Plant Breeding, Manufacturing (FMCG), Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 29 to 35 years
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial auditing practices
- Good understanding of internal control and risk management
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple audits
- Willingness and flexibility to travel and work at factory locations
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
