Job Description / Responsibility
  • We are a 100% export-oriented, reputed Tent Manufacturing Company looking to hire an Executive - Industrial Engineering (IE) for productivity improvement and efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct time, capacity, and follow-up studies of running tent models (cutting, sewing, welding, fitting, assembly, finishing), set realistic line/section targets, and perform line balancing to improve efficiency and throughput.
  • Plan and ensure line feeding per Operation Breakdown (OB) with proper manpower, machines, tools, jigs, and attachments; identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain monthly skill matrices for operators and helpers, and lead skill development and multi-skilling initiatives.
  • Analyze Non-Productive Time (NPT), identify root causes, and implement measures to reduce idle time and maximize output.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing projects (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, flow improvement) to enhance efficiency and optimize costs.
  • Finalize SMV and Operation Bulletin for all tent styles and buyer requirements with Production and Merchandising teams; monitor Man-Machine Ratio (MMR), Cost per Minute (CPM), productivity, and waste optimization.
  • Conduct skill development training for supervisors and floor staff on IE tools, techniques, and productivity methods; evaluate training effectiveness and follow up.
  • Prepare and present monthly KPI reports, efficiency analysis, and cost recovery reports for management review.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering
Experience Requirements
  • At least 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age 26 to 32 years
  • Experience in the Tent manufacturing industry will be a plus.
  • Candidates with Woven experience are also encouraged to apply.
