Job Description / Responsibility

Department: Industrial Engineering (IE)
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate IE team activities to ensure smooth production flow and efficiency.
Design and monitor line layouts; minimize changeover time during style or article changes.
Conduct article and operation analysis; prepare SMV and operation bulletins.
Ensure optimum utilization of Man, Machine, and Materials (3M).
Prepare manpower budgeting and fix production targets based on efficiency and SMV.
Increase daily production through line balancing and productivity improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with production, planning, quality, HR, and maintenance departments to enhance productivity.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and KPI reports.
Identify, record, and reduce non-productive time (NPT).
Support worker recruitment through skill tests and proper placement.
Perform CPM, CM, and cost calculations; support cost reduction initiatives.
Identify operational issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Reduce factory overhead costs through continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of IE.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) or any relevant engineering discipline
Professional training or certification in Industrial Engineering will be preferred

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Tannery/Footwear

Additional Job Requirements

(More than 5 year(s) Industrial experience Industrial Engineering.)
Strong knowledge of SMV, line balancing, productivity improvement, and cost control
Experience in manufacturing / footwear / garment industry will be an advantage
