Job Description / Responsibility
  • Assist to manage and maintain color system and lab equipment to ensure lab & colour system operation properly to deliver lab work within agreed lead time.
  • Liaise with Color Systems Executive resources allocation in order to effectively manage laboratory work load and to ensure all samples are produced within shade tolerance and service lead time.
  • Monitor laboratory work practices, processes and discuss with Colour Systems Executive to streamline operation as necessary.
  • Take for pass / fail decision, recipe correction in time to improve service lead time and lab output.
  • Check recipe in consultation with dye house office/ executive in order to improve bulk RFT and colour quality.
  • Endeavour efficiency improvement such as matching attempt, lab to bulk reproducibility, lab machine utilization through careful review, analysis, motivating the down line people and taking appropriate action.
  • Analyses shade related customer complaints in conjunction with quality department and recommend/take corrective action as appropriate.
  • Assess performance of down level lab people, identify training needs.
  • Ensure all laboratory operations fully comply with SOPs.
  • Promote health and safety awareness and ensure safe working environment taking steps to eliminate all risk factors and potential hazards.
  • Maintain good housekeeping
  • Able to perfectly matching every shade as buyer requirements and ensure the best quality as per buyer`s requirements parameter.
  • Able to shade matching all kind of yarn and Fabric like as 100% Cotton Single & twisted double yarn, Polyester, viscose, Wool, Nylon, PC /CVC blended Yarn, Acrylic, blend of Acrylic/Cotton etc.
  • Obviously have to experience about Data color Spectrometer operation & Auto lab Dispenser operating system.

Educational Requirements
  • Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
