Job Description / Responsibility
- Position: General Manager
- (Hospital Doctor’s Chamber & Diagnostic Center)
- Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage overall operations of the Hospital, Doctor’s Chamber, and Diagnostic Center
- Supervise daily activities of OPD, Diagnostic Lab, Pharmacy, Administration, and Support Services
- Ensure smooth coordination among doctors, technicians, nurses, and administrative staff
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve service quality and patient satisfaction
- Manage budgeting, expense control, revenue growth, and overall financial performance
- Monitor billing, collection, cash flow, and vendor payments
- Ensure proper duty roster management and optimum utilization of manpower
- Maintain diagnostic quality control, report accuracy, and timely service delivery
- Handle patient complaints professionally and ensure effective resolution
- Ensure compliance with DGHS, Ministry of Health, licensing authorities, and hospital regulations
- Implement hospital policies, SOPs, and internal control systems
- Build and maintain relationships with doctors, corporate clients, and referral sources
- Lead marketing and promotional activities to increase patient flow Prepare regular operational and performance reports for the management
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Graduation and Post Graduation from any recognized university
- Preference will be given to candidates with background in Hospital Management / Business Administration / Public Health
Experience Requirements
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 35 to 45 years
- Must have hands-on experience in Hospital / Diagnostic Center management
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple departments effectively
- Local candidates from Savar area will get preference
- Candidates residing in or willing to stay in Savar will have an added advantage
