Transport Manager

Job Description / Responsibility

Manage and supervise company vehicles
Create route planning and duty rosters for drivers and vehicle team employees
Keep track of and update all vehicle documentation, such as driver`s licenses, insurance, tax tokens, registration, and fitness records
Plan for routine auto maintenance, repairs, and maintenance
Keep an eye on fuel usage and manage expenses associated with transportation
Maintain daily vehicle logbooks and prepare monthly transport reports
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) rules and traffic laws
Handle accidents, breakdowns, and emergency transport situations
Coordinate with management and provide regular transport updates

Educational Requirements

Experience Requirements

3 to 7 years

Additional Job Requirements

Age 30 to 45 years
Proven Experience in Transport Management, Fleet Management, Vehicle Management or a relevant field
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh traffic laws and BRTA regulations
Ability to manage drivers and transport staff effectively
Good communication and reporting skills
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
