Job Description / Responsibility

Current location Ashulia, Dhaka
Appointment Period Full Time, Permanent
Job Objective
Key Responsibilities:
Manage student fee collection (admission/tuition/hostel/semester), issue money receipt/voucher, and maintain records (Excel & System).
Process day-to-day finance & accounts operations, including vendor bills, cash/bank payments, bank deposits, cheque preparation, and related documentation.
Prepare and submit monthly revenue statement, deposit proof and related supporting schedules to Head Office.
Maintain petty cash with proper vouchers and regular reporting to Head Office.
Prepare monthly payroll for faculty and staff and ensure timely salary disbursement (bank/cash) with proper approvals and supporting documents.
Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, registers, and ensure proper filing for audit and future reference.
Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and supporting schedules, assist in month-end and year-end closing.
Ensure Tax & VAT compliance.
Prepare program/event budgets and monitor actual vs budget; coordinate regularly with Head Office and support audits/compliance requirements.
Perform any other finance/accounts duties assigned by management to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Masters
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CA/CC (part-qualified) from a reputed firm is preferred.

Experience Requirements

5 to 6 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): College

Additional Job Requirements

5-6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
Sound understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting.
Working knowledge of Tax and VAT rules, policies, and compliance requirements.
