Job Description / Responsibility
- Overview: Knit Asia Limited (a company of New Asia Group) is a reputed and large Fabric manufacturing company with eco-friendly, safe and healthy working environment.
- We are looking for a Manager – Maintenance for the factory who is really talented, enthusiastic and eager to develop themselves as a successful leader. The appointed Manager – Maintenance will be trained as efficient leaders with attractive benefits.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage overall maintenance activities for Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Printing, and Embroidery units
- Ensure effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, utility, boiler, compressor, and generator systems
- Plan and implement TPM, Lean Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Ensure smooth operation of ETP, STP, utilities, and energy management systems
- Coordinate closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve OEE
- Prepare and control maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and annual shutdown plans
- Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, Audit standards, ESG, safety, and all applicable legal regulations
- Lead, train, develop, and evaluate maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians
- Prepare maintenance reports, KPIs, and continuous improvement action plans
- Implement national and international codes and standards (BNBC, ISO, NFPA, etc.), including RSC/Nirapon and buyer requirements
- Design and execute different projects as assigned by management
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
Experience Requirements
- 6 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile, Dyeing Factory
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 28 to 35 years
- Minimum 6–10 years of hands-on experience in a composite textile factory
- Strong technical knowledge of utilities, including boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC systems, and ETP
- Practical experience with RSC / Nirapon and other global compliance standards
- Experience in Industry 4.0, automation, and IoT-based monitoring systems will be considered an added advantage
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
