Job Description / Responsibility

Operate and maintain sophisticated instruments and equipment in the laboratory.
Set up, calibrate, maintain, operate, and shut down laboratory instruments.
Collect, receive, label, and sort samples (blood, urine, etc.).
Design and execute laboratory work and sample preparation following standard procedures.
Conduct experiments under controlled conditions to verify or reject various types of samples using scientific methods.
Organise and store chemicals, liquids, and compressed gases according to safety guidelines.
Accurately record all data and results, then submit them to the authorised consultant.
Maintain laboratory equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
Ensure strict adherence to safety rules and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Conduct continuous research related to laboratory procedures and advancements.
Train and orient new medical technologists on test performance and interpretation.
Ensure accurate, timely, and quality laboratory testing that meets customer needs.

Educational Requirements

Diploma in Medical Technology
Diploma in Medical Technology in Laboratory Medicine

Experience Requirements

3 to 7 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Medical Equipment, Diagnostic Centre, Hospital
