Job Description / Responsibility

Steel Times is a leading importer and indenting enterprise based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, specializing in the steel sector. Since our establishment in 2000, we have navigated the business landscape with steadfast commitment, building lasting partnerships with both suppliers and buyers.
Assistant Manager – Overseas Purchase Department will be responsible to assist in every purchase of Steel Times with efficiency in negotiation and coordination and play the bridge between the buyers and suppliers through every deal.
Duties & Responsibilities:
ACTIVE EMAIL COMMUNICATION WITH FOREIGN SUPPLIERS AND LOCAL BUYERS.
TELECOMUNICATION WITH FOREIGN SUPPLIERS.
CREATING DOCUMENTS FOR PURCHASE.
ORGANISE DOCUMENTS RELATING TO PURCHASE.
ASSIST IN EXCHANE OF DOCUMENTS BETWEEN BANKS AND SUPPLIERS.
ASSIST SUPPLIERS AND BANKS WITH INFORMATIONS DURING THE PROCESS OF PURCHASE TILL THE CLOSER OF THE FILE.
CHECKING/VERIFYING DOCUMENTS RECEIVED FROM BANKS AND SUPPLIERS.
SEEKING ORDERS FROM SUPPLIERS REGULARLY THROUGH PHONE AND EMAIL.
REPORTING TO CHAIRPERSON WEEKLY.
SOURCING POTENTIAL SUPPLIERS.
Location: DHAKA (NORTH-SOUTH ROAD, BANGSHAL, DHAKA)

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors, Masters
GRADUATION / POST-GRADUATION IN ANY DISCIPLINE FROM ANY REPUTED UNIVERSITY.

Additional Job Requirements

LANGUAGE: MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH ORALLY AND WRITTEN.
EXPERIENCE: EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.
FRESH GRADUATE ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
