Job Description / Responsibility
- Department: Operations

- Location: Jamaldi, Gazaria, Munshiganj
- Job Purpose:
- To ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement,
- inventory management, production planning, logistics, and vendor coordination, supporting timely
- delivery of raw materials and finished goods while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and weekly supply plans based on demand and production capacity.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and take corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Source raw materials, packaging materials, and services as per specifications.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of paints, solvents, and hazardous materials.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Coordinate with warehouse and 3PL providers for smooth dispatch operations.
- Create production schedules in coordination with manufacturing and planning teams.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support production without delays.
- Align supply chain activities with plant capacity and seasonal demand fluctuations.
- Plan and manage outbound logistics for timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and route optimization.
- Monitor delivery performance and resolve logistics issues with dispatches.
- Generate reports for key supply chain metrics (OTIF, inventory turns, etc.).
- Analyze data to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Educational Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 8 years
- 4–8 years of experience in supply chain roles, preferably in the paints, chemicals, or FMCG industry.
Additional Job Requirements
- Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes in the paints/chemical industry.
- Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to planning and problem-solving.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
