Job Description / Responsibility
  • Receive and inspect incoming fabric materials, ensuring quantity and quality match with requirement of purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory & records using ERP or inventory management software.
  • Organize and store fabrics in a systematic and accessible manner; like racking & using palates.
  • Maintain separation of warehousing for job wise, order wise, color wise, type wise, organic, non-organic.
  • Monitor fabric consumption and stock levels and update reports.
  • Issue materials based on production requirements and implementation of LIFO-FIFO method.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as goods receipt notes, stock registers, and issue slips.
  • Conduct periodic physical stock audits and reconcile with system records.
  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and identification of different types of fabrics.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the fabric store area.
  • Follow safety and handling guidelines for different types of fabrics.
  • Collaborate with quality control to address any issues related to defective or damaged materials.

Educational Requirements
  • Master of Arts (MA)
Experience Requirements
  • 2 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Garments, Textile

  • Age at least 28 years
  • Candidate should have knowledge on fabric types and consumption;
