Job Description / Responsibility
- Position: Supply Chain Manager

- Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations at Babuland. This role will ensure timely procurement, efficient logistics, and strategic vendor management across our multi-branch operation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain optimization and strong leadership capabilities to support our rapid expansion.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory for amusement equipment, food & beverage, and merchandise.
- Identify, evaluate, and engage vendors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee inventory across all locations and warehouses, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Coordinate with multiple departments (Operations, events, marketing, finance) to meet operational demands.
- Maintain supply chain compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards (BFSA, BSTI, etc.).
- Implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives across supply chain functions.
- Prepare performance reports on supply chain KPIs and supplier efficiency
- Conduct market research to assess supply trends and price fluctuations
- Ensure logistics efficiency by optimizing routes and delivery schedules
- Any other tasks assigned by management
- Employment Status: Full-time
- Job Location: Dhaka (with frequent visits to Babuland branches as needed)
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Manufacturing (FMCG), Retail Store, Event Management, Amusement Park
Additional Job Requirements
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- Professional certification (e.g. CSCP, PMP, etc.) is an advantage.
- Experience Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in supply chain operations (preferably in FMCG, hospitality, retail, or amusement industries).
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex vendor networks.
- Additional Requirements:
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/inventory systems.
- Ability to work independently with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of franchise-based business supply chain is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools.
