Customer Service Executive - Import Operations

Job Description / Responsibility

Handle day-to-day import operations, including documentation, customs clearance coordination, and cargo tracking.
Communicate with clients, shipping lines, C&F agents, and overseas partners regarding shipment status and updates.
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure the timely delivery of import shipments.
Provide accurate and timely quotations, service updates, and documentation to clients.
Maintain proper records of shipments and customer interactions.
Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
Monitor pending shipments and proactively follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for import shipments.
Prepare and maintain periodic reports on import activities.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Experience Requirements

1 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Shipping, Embassies/Foreign Consulate, Airline, Freight forwarding, Group of Companies, Transportation, Supply Chain
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Job Requirements

Age 24 to 30 years
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a relevant field.
1–3 years of experience in import operations or customer service in logistics/freight forwarding.
Strong communication skills in English and Bangla.
Good knowledge of import documentation, HS codes, and Incoterms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
