Job Description / Responsibility

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated professional to lead our Merchandising & Marketing team. The candidate must have extensive knowledge in apparel marketing, product development, buyer communication, costing, and team management.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with international buyers and sourcing agents.
Lead the merchandising team to ensure on-time product development, sampling, costing, and order execution.
Analyze market trends, develop marketing strategies, and identify new business opportunities.
Plan and oversee the order booking process to ensure production and shipment deadlines are met.
Ensure accurate costing and pricing negotiations with clients to maximize profitability.
Maintain strong follow-up on all samples, approvals, and production stages.
Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure smooth order processing.
Manage merchandising & marketing team performance, providing coaching and mentoring.
Attend buyer meetings, fairs, exhibitions, and maintain regular communication with clients.
Support senior management in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors, Masters
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, Marketing, or Business Administration.

Experience Requirements

At least 12 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile

Additional Job Requirements

Age 38 to 50 years
Strong understanding of global apparel markets and buyer requirements.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Email Correspondence.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
