Job Description / Responsibility

Key Responsibilities
Provide general support to faculty and students in the lab
Offer technical support to students and faculty for their project work/practice sessions outside of lab classes
Perform and document preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and instruments
Maintain lab inventory
Troubleshoot technical and analytical problems
Calibrate measurement instruments and equipment regularly to ensure accuracy
Deliver components required for experiments
Assist with any auditing processes related to laboratory components
Maintain proper log sheets for different instruments
Ensure the lab is supervised at all times to prevent theft or malicious use of equipment
Set up and shut down the lab according to working hours

Educational Requirements

Diploma in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant subjects from a reputed University or polytechnic institute with excellent academic credentials

Additional Job Requirements

Professional experience in the relevant field will be preferred
Proficiency in operation and maintenance of relevant laboratory equipment
Proficiency in relevant laboratory software
Strong interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English
Proficiency in MS Office and the use of Internet
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues is essential
Flexible approach to work and positive response to changing requirements
