Job Description / Responsibility

Must be capable of handling import clearance independently.
Have sound knowledge about entire Import Procedures (including LC-BTB, Cash, Local and Foreign, TT and RTGS)
Should have sound knowledge on the Import Clearing Process under L/C, TT, and FOC and dealing with Suppliers, Banks, C&F, Forwarders, and Transport providers and releasing the materials on time.
Issuance of L/C on time.
Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations and the Customs Act.
Individually capable to handle bank for issuance of L/C & endorse documentation (acceptance, retirement, shipping guarantee, etc.).
To maintain up-to-date MIS in the Database System.
Must have knowledge in English and Bangla typing at average speed.
Highly efficient in computer literacy (MS Word, Sound Knowledge on advanced level Excel, PowerPoint), Computer Program and Presentation Work. Different types of Softwares (Oracle, TMS Knowledge).
Should have adequate knowledge on Terms and Conditions of L/C, Customs Tariff, vast knowledge on HS Code, Customs Duty Calculation, Knowledge of UD, SRO, Customs ACT, Bangladesh Bank Guidelines, Import Policy, Insurance, P/I, Shipping Documents, Export Sales Contract/Master L/C, and other related laws applicable for import.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Experience Requirements

2 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile, Group of Companies

Additional Job Requirements

Capable of Preparing reports and presenting to the Management.
Capable to handle Bank, CCI&E, BGMEA, Import Related Different types of Govt/ Non Govt Institutions.
Origination, Insurance, C&F Agent, Customs, Transport, Shipping/ Forwarding Agent
Maintaining well communication with Inter-Department.
Effective Communication skills in both writing and speaking in English (Internal and outward) will get priority.
Have to knowledge in Incoterms, ISBP, UCP 600 and Customs Act 2023.
