To strengthen our global business presence, we are looking for an experienced: General Manager - Global Buyer Sourcing & Business Development (Garments Buyer) to join our team.
- Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced individual with 15-20 years of proven expertise in the apparel sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in buyer sourcing, direct buyer communication, and strategic development — especially with clients in USA, North America, South America, Europe and Others region.
- Key Responsibilities
- Source and establish new buyer relationships in USA, North America, South America, Europe and Others region.
- Identify and build direct connections with international buyers, brands, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Develop and execute sourcing and business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Plan and implement strategies to attract bulk clothing orders from global markets.
- Utilize digital marketing, social media, and B2B platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Alibaba).
- Represent the company at international exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events to showcase capabilities and secure new buyers.
- Manage all buyer communications, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Foster long-term buyer relationships through proactive support, trust-building, and regular updates.
- Negotiate pricing and close contracts that align with both buyer and company interests.
- Coordinate between buyers, merchandising, and production teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
- Monitor global market trends and evolving buyer requirements to stay competitive.
- Stay updated on international apparel trade regulations and compliance standards.
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams, setting performance goals and driving results.
- Provide weekly/monthly performance reports on buyer acquisition, sourcing progress, and marketing activities.

Additional Job Requirements
- 15-20 years of experience in buyer sourcing within the clothing/apparel industry.
- Strong international exposure, especially in European and North American markets.
- Proven track record of direct buyer handling and successful client acquisition.
- Excellent English communication skills; additional European languages are a plus.
- Capable of working independently with a target-driven mindset.
- Willingness to start on a commission basis, with a transition to fixed salary and performance incentives after buyer acquisition.
