Job Description / Responsibility

Context :
AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a Material / Development Merchandiser.
Key Accountabilities :
Bring continues newness to the business - Fabric is Key
Monitor sourcing strategies in the industry & bring the best practices
Keep track records & maintain the material charts & update to the cross functional teams
Communicate product specifications and requirements clearly to internal and external stakeholders

Educational Requirements

Degree or diploma in textile engineering or 4 pints system and shade sorting certification

Experience Requirements

2 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile, Group of Companies, Dyeing Factory

Additional Job Requirements

Age 24 to 35 years
Knowledge of Merchandising Process
Knowledge of Supply Chain
Knowledge of External Customer requirements
Knowledge of Statistic
Negotiation skills
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Problem solving ability
