Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Officer (Printing Chemical) to join our team in the textile printing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical support related to the application, use, and performance of our printing chemicals and colors. The incumbent will also play a key role in fostering customer relationships, assisting in product development, and ensuring the best use of our products in the textile printing process.
- Provide expert guidance on the application, formulation, and optimization of printing chemicals and colors in textile printing.
- Conduct on-site demonstrations and consultations to ensure effective product application and optimal printing results.
- Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to ink consistency, print quality, curing problems, and color matching.
- Conduct training sessions on proper chemical use, equipment handling, and troubleshooting techniques for customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with R&D to provide customer feedback and help improve existing products and develop new solutions.
- Assist with product trials and laboratory testing to ensure the best chemical solutions for clients’ specific needs.
- Prepare technical reports detailing product recommendations, application procedures, and test results to guide client decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by providing ongoing technical support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and share relevant knowledge with customers to keep them competitive.
- Work closely with sales, R&D, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product application and effective technical support.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering in Textile Technology, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology
Experience Requirements
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in technical support or application development for printing chemicals and colors in the textile industries.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in diagnosing and resolving printing-related issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Proficient in conducting product testing, trials, and performance evaluations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
