Job Description / Responsibility
- Palki Motors is Bangladesh’s first homegrown electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing company, pioneering sustainable mobility solutions for commercial drivers. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Management Executive to join our team.
- We Are Looking For:
- We are seeking a recent graduate or an early-career professional with a strong academic background in Industrial Engineering from a reputed university. If you have a CGPA of 3.0 or above, excellent English communication skills, and a passion for supply chain optimization, we encourage you to apply.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Process Documentation:
- Create, update, and maintain supply chain processes using industry-standard methodologies learned at university.
- Database & Reporting: Develop and manage a structured supply chain database and calendar for procurement, inventory, and logistics planning.
- Vendor & Warehouse Management:
- Assist in setting up and managing vendor management and warehouse systems to ensure efficient operations.
- Supplier Coordination: Communicate with local and international suppliers for sourcing EV components and materials.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Procurement Support:
- Assist in sourcing materials, vehicle components, and other supplies.
- Collect quotations from vendors and compare pricing.
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
- Maintain supplier databases and procurement records.
- Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Monitor stock levels and update inventory reports.
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing raw materials.
- Report stock shortages to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Logistics & Documentation
- Support logistics planning for material transportation.
- Assist with import/export documentation and supplier invoices.
- Coordinate with transport providers for timely deliveries.
- Administrative & Data Entry
- Maintain records of supply chain transactions in spreadsheets or ERP systems.
- Prepare reports on procurement, inventory, and logistics activities.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from a reputed university.
- Academic Performance: Minimum CGPA of 3.0.

- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Automobile
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 24 to 28 years
- Experience: 0-2 years in procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP software is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication in English and Bengali.
- Qualifications & Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Must be able to write professionally without relying on Generative AI tools.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (101-level subjects).
- Attention to Detail & Organization: Ability to document and manage supply chain data effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying supply chain inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
