Job Description / Responsibility
- We are seeking an Executive - Admin and Accounts to join our Accounts/Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, financial operations, compliance, and administrative tasks as outlined in the Job Responsibilities section.
- Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Weekend: Friday & 2 Alternative Saturday.
- Review and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify past-due invoices.
- Contact customers via phone, email, or in-person to follow up on overdue payments.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans if necessary.
- Process and record customer payments in the accounting system using respective software (e.g., QuickBooks, WHMCS, Tally. ERP 9 - whichever is applicable).
- Maintain accurate financial records, post journal entries, and manage transactions.
- Monitor the collection of due payments and maintain up-to-date customer records.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to the Accounts Head.
- Handle VAT, TAX, TDS, and corporate tax filings as per Bangladesh laws.
- Prepare and maintain a fixed assets register and oversee inventory movement.
- Process supplier and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, manage cash flow, and ensure proper banking operations.
- Submit physical bills and collect payments (cash or cheque) from clients.
- Deposit cash & cheque in the respective company bank account.
- Manage daily petty cash transactions and justify expenses through proper requisitions.
- Prepare and verify bills/vouchers for vendors and operational expenses.
- Ensure accurate recording and invoicing of all sales transactions in the automated billing system.
- Reconcile daily cash receipts with system records and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Senior Accounts Admin and internal teams for seamless financial operations.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly salary statements and process payroll transactions.
- Maintain relationships with corporate clients by preparing and managing bills and collections.
- Perform any other assignments given by management/line manager to support business operations.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Audit Firms /Tax Consultant, Financial Consultants, Financial Technology (Fintech) Startup
