Job Description / Responsibility
- JOB CONTEXT: A reputed clothing brand is seeking a station technical QC professional to ensure the highest quality of garment manufacturing production. This role involves conducting pre-production inspections, in-line quality control, and final inspections to ensure compliance with buyer standards and international regulations. The Station Technical QC will work closely with factory teams to identify defects, implement corrective actions, and improve quality assurance processes. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with factory and office teams are essential for success in this role. - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pre Production Inspection & Approval-
- Conduct Pre Production Meetings with factory teams to ensure technical requirements are understood.
- Verify Fabric, trims, and accessories to ensure they meet buyer specifications before production begins.
- Approve pre-production samples (PP samples) before Bulk Manufacturing.
- In Line Quality Control & Monitoring-
- Perform in-line inspections to check garments construction, stitching and overall workmanship.
- Identify and report defects or inconsistencies during the production process.
- Ensure Factories follow approved patterns, grading, and measurements.
- Quality Standerds & Comliance-
- Ensure all garments meet buyer quality standards and international compliance regulations.
- Implement and enforce quality (QC) producers within the factory.
- Work with factory QC Teams to improve quality assurance measures.
- Final Inspection & Reporting-
- Conduct Final random inspection (FRI) before shipment.
- Ensure finished garments meet the required quality, fit, and appearance standards.
- Prepare detailed QC reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Defect Analysis & Problem-Solving-
- Analyze recurring effects and work with factories to implement corrective actions.
- Train factory workers on best practices for quality improvement.
- Ensure quick regulations to any quality issues that may impact production timelines.
- Factory Coordination & Communication-
- Maintain strong communication with factory management and production teams.
- Provide regular updates to Office on production quality status
- Ensure smooth coordination between the office, merchandisers, and factory QC Teams.
