Job Description / Responsibility
  • Job Description:
  • Arrange for advertising of job vacancies, arrange interview and prepare documents for selection process;
  • Prepare employment offer letter;
  • Ensure pre-employment requirements are submitted and open personnel file with documentation according to HR checklist;
  • Maintain and regularly update HR Directory with staffs details;
  • Monitor employee performance and coordinate with relevant staffs to ensure employee performance evaluations are carried out in timely manner, filed and communicate outcome of the evaluation to the respective staffs;
  • Ensure the timely processing of new contract, contract extension, promotions and other change of status;
  • Respond to employee related queries and provide services to all HR related inquiries and requests;
  • Support to all partner organizations and project offices on HR matters;
  • Provide support and guideline in maintain leave and attendance records through HRMS database management system for the employees;
  • Manage and track leave application, leave balance, timely submission of time sheets from staff members etc;
  • Safeguarding Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants;
  • Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project;
  • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures;
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

  • The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
  • CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD’s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.
  • The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
  • CDD is planning to recruit for the position of ‘HR & Admin Assistant’ under the project titled ‘The Meaningful participation and inclusion of children and youths with disabilities in all domains of CBR (MaPInCBR)’ to be implemented with the support of Liliane Foundation (LF). The HR & Admin Assistant provides essential support in managing day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks. This role ensures the smooth functioning of HR processes, compliance with policies, and efficient office administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. The duration of the project is till 31st December 2029. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.

Educational Requirements
  • 4 years Bachelor degree in any discipline from reputed university, preferable in Business Administration;
  • PGD in HRM will be get preference
Experience Requirements
  • At least 2 years

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age at least 22 years
  • Working experience in National/ International NGO will be get preference;
  • Good skill on coordinating HR and Administrative activities;
  • Good knowledge of computer operation including Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to work in challenging environments;
  • Good communication skills in both Bengali & English.
