Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our factory. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production while maintaining quality standards and meeting targets. If you have experience in manufacturing, especially in plastics, and understand raw materials, machine parameters, and production processes, we encourage you to apply.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with departments like Planning, Marketing, procurement, quality assurance and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.
- Monitor manufacturing costs and find cost-saving opportunities.
- Supervise daily factory operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve production processes.
- Manage production schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of raw materials by coordinating with procurement teams.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and reduce costs.
- Resolve operational issues and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, KAIZEN, TPM, TQM, ISO standards, Six Sigma, and GMP practices.
- Monitor production schedules to maintain an optimal supply chain.
- Plan production based on sales and export orders to avoid overproduction or stockpile issues.
- Control wastage of raw materials and finished goods while managing inventory and purchases effectively.
- Ensure the factory follows safety protocols to provide a safe working environment.
- Prepare performance reports and present them to management for review.
Educational Requirements

- Experience in Manufacturing: Deep knowledge of plastic bottle and cap production.
- Raw Material Expertise: Understanding of raw materials used in plastics manufacturing.
- Machine Knowledge: Proficiency in operating and setting machine parameters, troubleshooting, and understanding production recipes.
- Process Management: Ability to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure production efficiency.
- Quality Control: Familiarity with quality standards like ISO, GMP, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Data Analysis: Capability to analyze production data for process improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Strong skills to handle operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Team Coordination: Experience working with cross-functional teams like sales, procurement, and logistics.
