Job Description / Responsibility

Maintain VAT registers (6.1, 6.2, and 6.2.1) in line with the raw material purchase and consumption ratios.
Prepare VAT reconciliation statements, ensuring alignment between VAT and accounting records.
Prepare documentation for monthly VAT returns.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT reports to confirm VAT rebates.
Issuance of VAT invoices, including Mushak-6.3 and 6.5
Maintain effective communication and liaison with VAT regulators to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare necessary supporting documents for input-output coefficients (Mushak-4.3)
Reconcile purchases and sales records with monthly accounts to support VAT returns.
Assist to submit monthly VAT returns (Mushak-9.1) via the online system as required.
Handle any other VAT-related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance & Banking, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Customs, VAT & Income Tax Management.
or VAT & Tax Management Training. (Not Mandatory)

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Investment/Merchant Banking, Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Tiles/Ceramic, Paint, Cement, Steel

Additional Job Requirements

Age at least 28 years
Should have process & practical knowledge of VAT & Tax.
