Job Description / Responsibility
- Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager with Backup IT Support
- We are seeking a talented and versatile professional who will excel in graphic design, and social media management, and provide secondary IT support. This hybrid role requires creativity, social media savvy, and technical troubleshooting skills to help build our brand, enhance our online presence, and provide backup technical support to our team. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design (40%)
- Create visually engaging graphics for social media posts, website banners, email campaigns, and print materials.
- Design and produce promotional materials such as posters, flyers, and digital ads, following brand guidelines.
- Develop visual content, including infographics, photo editing, and short animations.
- Maintain consistency across all platforms with cohesive branding, typography, and color schemes.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to produce assets that support strategic campaigns.
- Social Media Management (40%)
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Create and schedule posts, engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage comments professionally.
- Track social media metrics and report on engagement, reach, and performance; adjust strategies based on insights.
- Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure continuous growth.
- Backup IT Support (20%)
- Provide backup support for basic IT issues, such as troubleshooting connectivity, software installations, and user assistance.
- Coordinate with the IT team for more complex technical issues and escalations.
- Assist in managing hardware and software inventory, including troubleshooting graphic design tools/software.
- Ensure content backups and assist in minor website updates if necessary.
