Job Description / Responsibility
  • A European company having the lesion office situated at Baridhara DOHS looking for a Sustainable specialist who has knowledge of textile technology, environmental sustainability, clothing technology, manufacturing process, dyeing process and also have a basic knowledge in Life Cycle assessment.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and analyze environmental impacts across the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with suppliers from Tier 1 to Tier 4 to gather and analyze sustainability-related data.
  • Work closely with the sustainability team to ensure compliance with sustainable supply chain practices.
  • Use sustainability software tools to monitor and report on environmental performance.
  • Engage with suppliers to drive sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with our environmental goals.
  • Support the development and execution of sustainability projects, focusing on reducing the environmental impact of textile production

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Additional Job Requirements
  • Previous experience or coursework in conducting LCAs.
  • Knowledge and experience in the textile industry are required.
  • Proficiency in using sustainability software platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with suppliers at various levels.
  • Experience in sustainable supply chain management is a plus.
