Job Description / Responsibility
- Analyze project requirements and conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability.
- Architect and design scalable web applications with a focus on performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
- Develop and maintain PHP applications, primarily using Laravel; familiarity with CakePHP is a plus.
- Implement and secure APIs, ensuring protection against common web vulnerabilities like XSS, CSRF, and SQL injection.
- Apply advanced web security practices, including encryption techniques and secure authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
- Conduct performance tuning, profiling, and benchmarking to enhance application efficiency.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services.
- Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and apply best practices for database design and optimization; exposure to NoSQL databases is advantageous.
- Develop front-end solutions using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience in frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, or VueJS considered a plus.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing mentorship to junior engineers to enhance team performance.
- Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing, including unit tests.
- Deliver high-quality, bug-free software solutions that integrate seamlessly within larger system architectures.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and adapt to changes to continuously improve development processes.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 25 to 32 years
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Smart, creative and flexible software developer.
- Experience to follow the best practices/coding standards.
- Prior working experience on a scalable web-based application.
- Experience designing, implementing and using RESTful Web Services with Service-Oriented Architecture.
- Solid understanding of version control principles, preferably using Git.
- Experience using mocking frameworks, testing frameworks, dependency injection.
- Attention to detail and an ability to build reliable, scalable, and flexible software.
- Ability to work independently without any supervision.
