Job Description / Responsibility

As a secondary Business and Economics school teacher, you'll need to:
Prepare and deliver lessons to classes of different ages and abilities
Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development
Research new topic areas, maintain up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials
Select and use a range of different learning resources and equipment, including interacting with whiteboard
Prepare pupils for qualifications and external examinations
Manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior
Undertake pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of form tutor, and supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties
Communicate with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole-school training events
Liaise with other professionals, such as learning mentors, careers advisers, educational psychologists and education welfare officers.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Studies, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics, Master of Arts (MA) in Economics, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Studies
Shahjalal University of Science & Technology students will get preference

Experience Requirements

1 to 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
College, School

Additional Job Requirements

Age 28 to 40 years
You won't necessarily have a base classroom, and may have to carry books and equipment from room to room between lessons.
