Job Description / Responsibility

REPORTS TO: COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST
Purpose of the Job: Counterpart International is looking for qualified fresh graduates or students for an internship under its USAID-funded Promoting Advocacy and Rights Activity in Bangladesh (PAR). This four-month internship is based in Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, and will report to the Communications Specialist.
Duration: 4 months, with the possibility for an extension up to 6 months
Key Responsibilities not limited to:
This position is seeking a dynamic candidate who is proactive and willing to learn to deliver the learnings efficiently as an IT Intern to manage a small-scale in-house IT infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
Support in maintaining LAN and server.
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
Check, update, and close tickets on IT support from HQ.
Maintain close relationships with service providers.
Clear understanding of basic IT/network problems and trouble shooting
Install and configure all kinds of OS, computer hardware, software, printers, and scanners.
Maintain and upgrade PABX, POS & CC camera.
Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
Any other task assigned by the management from time to time.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/diploma in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering

Additional Job Requirements

Understanding of TCP/IP stack, networking technologies and protocols
Experience to configure and troubleshoot routers/ switches and LAN, WLAN, VLAN
Experience with office LAN/Wi-Fi network setup and troubleshooting.
Knowledge on Database Server, PABX, Windows server
