Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:

- Job Responsibilities:
- Creating items that consumers and distributors will purchase.
- Candidate must have Creativity, Proactivity, Interpersonal skills, Eagerness to succeed, good sewing skills.
- The Fashion Designer will be responsible for designing new fashion offerings, creating detailed sketches and models, selecting fabrics and textiles appropriate for the design, and ensuring that the end product is a perfect fit for the customer.
- Designer’s research current trends and sales forecasts to create marketable designs
- Experienced working in current global fashion trends and themes, brand ethos and aesthetics as well as anticipate designs that would appeal to customers.
- Frequently visit sourcing hub, capable to select as well as source fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments.
- Analyze production feasibility by understanding different fabric qualities, pattern making, fits/ technical aspects of garment construction to operate our retails outlets smoothly.
- Lead design team to create prototype design.
- Ensure product designs which are tested on models and make necessary adjustments/changes before offering the same to customers in our retail outlets.
- Perform cost analysis for each design and develop products in order to attract customers.
- Support marketing team by adding value to its clients, understand and research new product development opportunities for our outlets.
- Continuous follow-up and communicate with production team in order to explain the design as well as follow up production quality to meet ultimate expectation.
- For Monitoring fashion trends, you must visit Solasta and competitor’s outlets frequently regular basis.
- Maintain liaison with sales/ marketing to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points.
- Co-ordinate with Photoshoot, campaign shoots etc.
- Maintain season wise yearly budget plan, keep proper documentation, update design records.
- Daily basis analysis POS / Sales Record of delivered design at outlets and report.
Educational Requirements
- Candidate from reputed Bangladeshi or International University would be given priority.
- Candidate must have a B.Sc/ M.Sc or similar degree in fashion designing would be given priority with extensive work experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Garments, Dyeing Factory
Additional Job Requirements
- Age at least 27 years
- Candidates should have knowledge on current trends of Fashion apparel industry. Working Renowned Fashion Retail Brand.
- Good Communication skills, Business skills, Leadership skills and Adaptability to dynamic trends.
- Must be good in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, MS Office
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Art & Sketch, Fashion Design, Graphic Design (Computer Aided)
