Job Description / Responsibility
- AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Security Officer for the factory to look after the overall security aspect of it.
- Key Job Responsibility:
- Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control.
- Be visible and observant at all times, greeting staff, guests, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner.
- Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons and incidents swiftly and appropriately
- Maintain the company’s reputation with professionalism and legal compliance
- Should have knowledge to face audit like WRAP and C-TPAT and prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) against the audit reports.
- Patrol the premises on foot, securing personnel, assets, buildings, gates, perimeter fence etc. and ensure the these are secured in all weather conditions.
- Investigate and take the appropriate lawful actions as authorized by the company policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents.
- Control and monitor surveillance equipment, and perform building and equipment inspections.
- Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers and direct heavy traffic during start and end of business hours.
- Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observation and signatures of responsible persons.
- Prepare & monitor the Duty Roster of the security guards.
- Detect potential sources of Security problems, Safety hazards and Fire hazards by regular visits to the company premises and report any other issues as appropriate.
- Maintain liaison with local Law Enforcing agencies and other Intelligence organizations as appropriate.
- Secure all doors, windows, and exits, depending on shift.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline (NB: Educational qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates and Ex-defense personnel having required experience).
Experience Requirements
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 35 to 45 years
- Basic Computer skill in MS Word and Excel.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Security Officer in a reputed export-oriented Garments Factory.
- Must have experience and be capable of handling C-TPAT, WRAP audit independently.
- Be capable of handling and monitoring CCTV Cameras and other surveillance devices for ensuring security.
- Must have good Communication skills both in Bangla & English.
- Must have good Leadership skill to lead the security team.
- Should have a positive professional attitude, self-motivated and be a team player.
