Job Description / Responsibility
- The Security Officer will be responsible to ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and assets of Akij Glass Industries Factory. Security officer is responsible for implementing security measures, enforcing AGIL policies, and responding to any security incidents.
- Design and implement a robust and proper Access Control System for AGIL factory.
- Monitor AGIL factory premises through patrolling and security cameras, maintaining vigilance to detect and prevent unauthorized access or activities.
- Regulate entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles/delivery vehicles, verifying identification and ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
- Respond swiftly to alarms and security breaches, investigating disturbances and reporting incidents to the appropriate authorities as necessary.
- Enforce AGIL policies and procedures related to security, conduct regular security drills.
- Maintain detailed records of security-related activities, prepare reports on incidents and breaches, and communicate findings to relevant supervisor.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring the safety of employees during crises.
- Work closely with HR, Admin, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures with overall company policies and regulations.
- Arrange and evaluate training programs for security personnel and conduct them accordingly.
- Regularly inspect and maintain security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems, reporting malfunctions for timely repairs.
- Assist in managing visitor logs, issue visitor badges, and provide necessary guidance to guests while ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Maintain relations with local law enforcement agencies.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification.
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years

Additional Job Requirements
- Age at least 26 years
- Proven experience as a security officer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and equipment.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations effectively and calmly.
- Basic computer skills for report writing and data entry.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods.
- Security certification or training is a plus.
