Fresenius Medical Care is the world's leader of products and services for people with chronic kidney failure having operation in around 150 countries around the world. We care for more than 320,000 patients in our global network of more than 3,700 dialysis clinics. We are looking for a Country Manager for entity in Bangladesh called Fresenius Medical Care Bangladesh Ltd.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive the company to grow and expand business in Bangladesh and to build and maintain a leading position within the industry
• Understand the key market dynamics impacting trade, take initiatives and proactive measures leading to creative opportunities for sustainable business growth in the industry
• Achieve a growth oriented, strategic corporate plan and annual budget in line with set group guidelines and ensure its delivered or exceeded
• Act as the guardian of the company's brand image to customers, government, other stakeholders and the wider business community
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory (local& international), statutory, legal, principal and Group requirements, policies, environment, health and safety guidelines to ensure business continuity, safeguarding company interests, minimize risks, unnecessary costs and litigation
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with partners, customers, agency networks, government authorities and key suppliers
• Ensure company assets are safeguarded by proactively eliminating any opportunities for misuse or misappropriation and providing guidance to employees on use of assets thereby preventing unnecessary costs and any loss of confidential information
• Identify and analyze the feasibility of new projects on a corporate level and plan the implementation process by allocating resources for same to win the best ROI
• Create a platform with contingency strategies on changing market situations and challenges for the scope product and provider business in Bangladesh
• Achieve the set goals and objectives, including the revenue budget whilst directing towards profitability and sustainable business growth Coordinate and direct periodic KPIs of self and respective team members, and establish a support plan to achieve those KPIs successfully
• Take full P&L responsibility, ensuring all customer numbers, revenues, and set targets along with long term goals & objectives are achieved
• Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives Working closely with government and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and contribute to the development of new regulations and policies
• Work closely with the Finance, Accounts and Administration team to prepare annual budgets Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or, improvements
• Make high-quality investing decisions with supportive feasibility analysis and justification to advance the business and increase profits
• Provide leadership and management guidance to develop a team that drives and supports revenue generation, customer loyalty and to include the development of staff potential

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational requirements: Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree or Equivalent professional qualification.

Experience requirements: At least 15 year(s) of experience in health care industry

Additional requirements: Minimum 5 years of working experience in senior managerial roles
