Job Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
General

  • Provide leadership at the upazila level to ensure that all program activities are carried out in the field in accordance with best practices and UP policies;
  • Provide technical support to the team members at upazila level for successful implementation of the project.
  • Ensure regular communication with the multi-level management in order to provide updates on achievements and challenges.

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions;
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of probations reviews and annual performance reviews of the team;
  • Ensure training, support and ongoing capacity building opportunities for staff on technical and project management skills;

Representation – External & Internal Coordination

  • Actively develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including donor counter parts, government actors, other NGOs, and other relevant actors;

Other

  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop UP programs.
Academic Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience at mid-level project management
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Skills in Microsoft Office 365, Cloud based conference platforms
  • Experience in child safeguarding, health, nutrition, livelihood, education, community engagement etc.
  • Experience in any NGO or similar organisation.
  • Experience in multi partner/consortium project.
  • Experience in donor funded project.
  • Experience in CHT is preferred.

Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha (TUS) is an organization for community development based in Chittagong Hill Tracts which was established in 1997 by a group of dedicated social activists.  From the beginning we have aimed to empower grassroots communities of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), so they can take action on the social and economic challenges they face.

Since our establishment, we have led the mission successfully more than one decade as a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization.  We are now a leading local NGO in Khagrachari District, and have experience in undertaking a range of short and long-term projects on livelihoods, environment, biodiversity, traditional knowledge, water and sanitation, hygiene education practices, primary health care, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), good governance, and education issues.
