Job Description/ Responsibility

• Spearhead research and innovation to enhance DENIM washing techniques, improving product quality and efficiency.
• Design and conduct experiments to develop new washing processes and optimize existing ones.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot complex issues in the washing process to ensure seamless operations.
• Champion sustainability by ensuring washing processes comply with environmental and industry standards (e.g., ZDHC).
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and compliance teams to align R&D with business goals.
• Mentor and train team members to build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Master of Science (MSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering

Additional Job Requirements

• Age 30 to 45 years
• Able to make the costing for the denim items.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in washing R&D within the denim or textile industry.
• Proven track record of leading innovative washing process development.
• Expertise in washing techniques, chemical formulations, and process optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on sustainability.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
• Relevant training or certifications in washing processes or sustainability.
