Experience

• At least 2-4 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Trading/ Import/ Garments/ Textiles.

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 35 years
• Exceptional communication skills in English (both verbal and written) are mandatory and also have Advance Label of Computer Knowledge;
• Should have the serving experience in large and renowned garments;
• Should be able to follow-up task pro-actively and effectively;
• Should have good interpersonal communication skill;
• Good manner and appearance;

Responsibilities & Context

• Responsible to manage all sorts of commercial activities (e.g. L/C Opening, issuance of amendment, TT, IP, acceptance and releasing payment etc.)
• Making correspondence with supplier to keep follow up about the import consignment.
• To keep follow up with bank, shipping agent, related stakeholders for releasing payment, taking delivery of cargo etc.
• Strict monitoring with C&F agent to expedite the customs clearance of the import consignment from Chittagong Sea port and Dhaka airport within shortest time.
• Having sound knowledge about the proper HS code of the imported items.
• Must have good knowledge on LC clause, Incoterm and foreign exchange policy.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Export and Import Documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, LC, Bill of Exchange etc.).
• Work closely with production, packaging, supply chain, QA and finance team.
• Track export sales performance and report to management.
• Monitor payment collection, ensure LC documentation accuracy, and co-ordinate with bank for timely processing.
• Ensure all export activities are compliant with international and domestic regulations. Knowledge in BTB L/C.
• Capable to handle all export, import & loan facilities related work with bank. ERP System based knowledge.
• Closely Monitoring with Suppliers/ Manufacturers for Orders, Payment Processing, Push for completing Production as per time schedule or earlier.
