Laboratory Assistant (Veterinary & Agricultural Lab)

Job Description / Responsibility

Assist in the collection, labeling, and preparation of biological samples (blood, feces, milk, tissue, etc.) from livestock (cow, goat, poultry).
Operate and maintain basic laboratory instruments (microscopes, centrifuges, incubators, etc.).
Prepare culture media and reagents following safety protocols.
Assist veterinarians in disease diagnostics, vaccination testing, and sample analysis.
Record laboratory data accurately and maintain lab logs and reports.
Perform general laboratory cleaning, organization, and stock management.
Ensure proper disposal of biological waste and maintain a hygienic lab environment.
Support research and testing related to animal feed, soil, and water quality.
Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and report deviations to the lab supervisor.
Assist in quality assurance and compliance procedures.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, Diploma in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Veterinary Science, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry

Experience Requirements

2 to 6 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Livestock

Additional Job Requirements

Age 30 to 35 years
2–5 years of experience in a veterinary/agriculture/medical laboratory.
Familiar with basic lab safety procedures and documentation.
Experience with livestock-related lab work is preferred.
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work in a team.
Knowledge of Russian is a plus.
