Job Description / Responsibility
- Learn about seafood sourcing, processing, quality control, and supply chain operations.
- Understand local and international regulations governing seafood trade, safety, and sustainability.
- Rotate through key departments such as procurement, production, quality assurance, logistics, sales & marketing, and export operations to gain holistic knowledge.
- Assist in managing day-to-day processing and packaging operations in compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO).
- Monitor inventory and cold storage practices to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Support B2B or retail sales efforts by preparing quotes, understanding customer requirements, and maintaining client relationships.
- Conduct market research on seafood demand, trends, and pricing.
- Assist in coordinating shipments, export documentation, and liaising with freight forwarders and customs authorities.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of seafood products.
- Learn sustainable fishing practices and ethical sourcing strategies.
- Support initiatives to improve environmental impact and resource traceability.
- Analyze operational and sales data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Participate in process improvement projects across departments.
- Set learning goals and track performance during the trainee period.
- Prepare for transition into a permanent managerial or supervisory role upon successful completion of the program.

We distribute a wide range of frozen products to our customers who are restaurants, wholesalers, cash & carry outlets, small distributors and retail outlets.
