Regional Manager - Technical Support

Job Description / Responsibility

Train farm managers and employees on poultry & dairy health, biosecurity, animal handling, and food safety practices.
Participate in research projects aimed at improving poultry & dairy health and production efficiency.
Develop and monitor flock health programs, including vaccination, biosecurity, and disease prevention protocols.
Conduct routine farm visits to evaluate bird health, environmental conditions, and flock performance.
Diagnose and manage infectious and non-infectious diseases through clinical evaluation, diagnostics, and laboratory testing.
Provide guidance on medication usage, withdrawal times, and antimicrobial stewardship.
Collaborate with live production teams to optimize flock performance and reduce mortality and morbidity.
Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, and company animal welfare standards.
Maintain detailed health records and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Act as a liaison with external veterinarians, laboratories, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.

Educational Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Poultry, Dairy

Additional Job Requirements

Age at least 27 years
Strong knowledge of poultry & dairy disease management, production systems, and biosecurity principles.
