Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance (Fabric Technology)

Job Description / Responsibility

Dealing with customer queries and complaints for fabric.
Checking products for suitability and testing for performance under various conditions
Ensuring that products meet set requirements and specifications (e.g. color fastness, durability etc.
Evaluating, identifying, and selecting fabrics for garments making as per buyer requirement.
Problem solving and keeping up to date with trends and innovations.
Giving the approval prior to delivery requirement before Buyer approval considering buyer standard.
Develop chemicals that may be added to fabrics to make them more waterproof, flame- resistant or shrink-resistant also with cool comfort.
Experiment with textiles to improve their look, feel, texture and durability.
Risk analysis with production concern before bulk production and give them technical advice.
Producing sample fabric to ensure shade and quality before bulk production.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc)
B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from reputed university.

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Washing Factory

Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities.
Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
