Job Description / Responsibility
- Production Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dyeing plans based on order requirements.
- Allocate machines and manpower efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Monitor batch plans and optimize machine utilization.
- Capacity Analysis
- Assess production capacity of dyeing machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Identify bottlenecks and plan accordingly to avoid delays.
- Raw Material Planning
- Coordinate with store and procurement to ensure availability of dyes, chemicals, and yarns before processing.
- Raise material requisitions in advance.
- Order Management
- Analyze order sheets and determine required production timelines.
- Follow up with merchandising and marketing teams for order priorities or changes.
- Coordination with Departments
- Liaise with dyeing, lab, finishing, and QC departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Communicate daily production targets and receive updates.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain planning sheets and production status reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Prepare efficiency, delay, and utilization reports for management review.
- Lead Time & Delivery Tracking
- Monitor each batch's progress to ensure on-time delivery.
- Take corrective action for delays.
- Process Improvement
- Suggest ways to reduce lead time and increase productivity.
- Implement software tools (ERP, Excel automation) for better planning.
- Machine Load Balancing
- Distribute production load across machines based on capacity and availability.
- Reallocate if there is a breakdown or urgent order.
- Maintain Compliance & Standards
- Ensure planning processes comply with quality, safety, and audit requirements.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Diploma in Engineering in Textile Technology
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Garments Accessories, Dyeing Factory
Additional Job Requirements
- Candidate will get preference who have vast knowledge & experience of Continuous Dyeing.
