Job Description / Responsibility
- Solid understanding of Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS/BFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Excellent in tax planning, Familiar with Bangladesh tax regulations (NBR requirements), VAT, Financial Act, Income Tax Act and applicable tax rates.
- Experience with VAT and income tax returns, ensuring the company’s compliance with laws and regulations.
- Proficient in using financial software, such as Tally systems, including voucher entry, account reconciliation.
- Familiar with the company registration process, import and export tax laws and policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively liaise with tax authorities, banks, and other companies.
- High level of integrity, strong professional ethics, and risk awareness.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance & Banking
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields from a reputed university.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CPA are highly preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Audit Firms /Tax Consultant
Additional Job Requirements
- Age at most 30 years
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Experience in financial management within large-scale Engineering companies is preferred.
- Experience in leading teams to responds to Tax Audits is preferred
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with excellent time management
- Multitasking capability
