Job Description / Responsibility
  • Handle day-to-day import operations, including documentation, customs clearance coordination, and cargo tracking.
  • Communicate with Clients, shipping lines, C&F agents, and overseas partners regarding shipment status and updates.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure the timely delivery of import shipments.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations, service updates, and documentation to clients.
  • Maintain proper records of shipments and customer interactions.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Monitor pending shipments and proactively follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for import shipments.
  • Applied for SRO benefit to BEPZA after receiving the machineries and spare parts.
  • Distribute Freight Certificate (Encashment Certificate) to forwarder.
  • Bill of Entry collects from C&F and submit to the bank.
  • Prepare and maintain periodic reports on import activities.

Educational Requirements
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in International Business
Experience Requirements
  • At least 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Trading or Export/Import, Shipping, Freight forwarding, Supply Chain
